Beginning in Fall 2013, the Old Colony Baptist Association has reached out to our sister churches and lent a hand on various projects that were beyond the reach financially and physically of our churches.
In 2013 we met at First Baptist New Bedford and did yard work, painted fencing, removed shutters.
In 2014 we met at Kingston Baptist Church and with proper equipment and expertise, gutted a basement room which had mold issues, rebuilt the front steps of the church and planted bulbs in the gardens.
In 2015 we met at First Baptist Church of Brockton and painted the sanctuary, cleaned the woodwork and planted bulbs in the church yard.
In 2016 we met at First Baptist Church of Mansfield and repairs their front steps, repaired their parking lot, shampooed the santuary carpet and did some landscaping.
In 2017 we are took the ferry out to Martha's Vineyard and helped Community Baptist Church of Aquinnah at Gay head spruce up their church, inside and out, in preparation for their 325 anniversary.
